Life is a reality no one gets an opportunity to rehearse it, therefore all human being has no explanation what is ahead but rather what is behind us. Someone can ask, are all human beings equal? I can anchor my answer on this. Every living being is born and every being dies. The entrance to this world is the same for all that is through birth and the exit to the world is through death. What makes life look more or less important to an individual is the social status and the environment that received you to the world. When a child is born the first sound expected is a “cry “this can be well explained by medics And there are many theories that explain this-personally I guess the change of environment (mother’s womb) which was a comfort zone a quite with adequate supply of nutrients which are well balanced, the warmth and tender care of the enclosed environment in comparison with the harsh weather noisy environment the maternity ward that welcomes a baby is not really a quite place. The fact that the baby has to be independent symbolized by cutting of the umbilical cord makes the baby face the reality of the world alone and head on. The term stress is slowly introduced in the life of this toddler and becomes a norm.to suite in the new environment the baby has to device ways and means of survival. Many people argue that babies from 0yrs to 3yrs are stress free but I always have an opposing belief, indeed stressful events that an adult can manage will always cause stress in children. According to the oxford English dictionary defines stress as a mental strain and tension that is as a result of adverse situation and circumstance. Stress is the imbalance of demand to the supply of needs. What really makes many adults think that small children are stress free is because they adapt so quickly to any new environment therefore able to manage what stresses them quickly devising means of survival. Medline plus magazine puts it clear that stress in small amounts is good since it helps one to adapt means of survival. But excessive stress can affect the way of thinking, feeling and acting of a child. A lesson to draw from small kids is that adapting to a situation and devising ways of survival is what makes one grow and keeps one going.in essence real life has no reverse gear so regardless of how hard life grows there is no need of retrieving rather face it head on as long as you are in this world.as earlier indicated the only language that a child understands and use s to communicate is “crying “as a caregiver and a parent you need to understand them as they grow, take time and learn your child individually avoid comparing children to their peers and transferring judgement from older siblings because every person is unique and different from the other. Through crying they express their fears, worries and troubles. They may cry for a number of reasons for instance: if the child is hungry, discomfort maybe because of the sleeping position, when the diapers are wet, when thirsty, as a way of showing displeasure and disagreeing, showing worries, seeking for attention and pains-do not assume that because a baby is supplied with everything and has the best attention he should not cry. This is the only language the baby uses to express their stressful moments. Only through cry will a baby communicate.
